Feminist stuff aside, i think you're hilarious... and i have a serious question to ask you and i hope you can share some advice.
Firstly, you are dead on about hoes being insecure. It is the reason they all do the fucked up shit that they do. I know this because i have a few friends that are hoes and bitches, and they confide in me and tell me things they would never tell their boyfriends. It's usually stuff about not getting enough attention from their fathers.. or their mom's being total sluts. They get older, they compensate for lack of real love growing up.
Secondly, i have noticed and lived with my entire life.. FEMALE COMPETITION. Not only do bitches and hoes use their insecurities to fuck around with guys, but they also use it against their fellow woman! There's been many occasions where i have gone out to a bar or a party, having a great time drinking with friends... the next thing you know, this hoe comes in and starts talking real loud or slutting it up to get everyone's attention. Some hoes have even gone so far as to put other women around them down, in order to make themselves look good.
Now the serious question:
How does a woman deal with a hoe, without turning into a bitch?

First of all you need to know the best way to defeat a hoe is to ignore them. Plain and simple, unless they try to attack you, o' try to put you down. Then you have the right to speak up and do what you need to do. NEVER be afraid of sounding like a bitch in this situation. Because if a hoe try's to attack you physically o' mentally you have all the right to call her out on her bullshit.
Only an ignorant person would think you's a bitch at that point. It's called a WOMAN ASSERTING herself. They's a big difference. You don't wish drama. You just wish that bitch to cool her eggs when it comes to you personally.
Also, concerning a friend, or girl you out with putting you down? This is more common than people know. I've been recently introduced to the term "frenemy"(comes from the words friend and enemy). It's a friend who has no problem puttin' you down to yo' face o behind yo' back. Usually it comes very subtle, but the intention of the "frenemy" is always bad. I would also call this bitch out on her bullshit. Not aggressively, but with a tone of voice like you's asking someone fo' directions. Majority of the time the friend will be like "no why would you think that? i wasn't talkin' crap". but truth is they was they just rather do it without you knowin' and once you let them know they turn into the cowards they is, and back down. Best thing to do with a "frenemy" is take a mental note, and try to slowly stop hangin' around them until they out of yo' life.
